Cornwall Green Trades operates the website cornwallgreentrades.co.uk. We are a directory service connecting homeowners with MCS-certified green energy tradespeople in Cornwall.
Data we collect
- Visitors: We collect anonymous analytics (page views, referrers) via privacy-respecting tools. No cookies are set without consent.
- Business owners: When you claim or submit a listing, we collect your business name, email address, and the information you provide for your listing.
- Payment data: Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never store card details ourselves.
How we use your data
- To display your business listing on the directory
- To send you transactional emails (verification, billing, claim notifications)
- To send marketing emails if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe any time)
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
Business listing data
Business names, addresses, and certification details sourced from the MCS public register are publicly available information. We present this data in good faith. If you are a business owner and wish to update or remove your listing, please email us.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your listing is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.
Your rights
